New Delhi, Nov 4 : Infosys mentor N.R. Narayana Murthy made a personal contribution of Rs 12 lakh to Arvind Kejriwal's Public Cause Research Foundation in 2010-11. He is among several other corporate donors, Delhi newspaper Mail Today reported.

New Delhi:  Air India today said its Mumbai-Newark and Delhi-New York flights have been "indefinitely delayed" due to Hurricane Sandy which is set to hit the East Coast of the United States.
An Air India spokesperson said AI 191 Mumbai-Newark and AI 101 Delhi-New York have been indefinitely delayed due to the hurricane.

Long Beach, New York: With forecasters expecting that the New York area could get the worst of the super storm moving its way towards the country, property owners boarded up their homes and many were not leaving anything to chance and evacuated their families out of the city centre on Sunday.
Forecasters warned that the mega storm could wreak havoc over 1,300 km from the East Coast to the Great Lakes.

Kolkata: Four years after he announced his retirement from International cricket, former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly has called it quits from all levels of the game, deciding not to play in the IPL as well.

The former India opener had continued playing first-class cricket for Bengal so as to keep in shape for his franchise Pune Warriors but after last year’s debacle, Ganguly has at last decided against it.

 

Sydney: Matthew Wade has been named Australia wicketkeeper for the first cricket test against South Africa in a move that may mark the end of Brad Haddin's 43-test career.

The 25-year-old Wade was named Monday in Australia's 12-man squad for the test which starts in Brisbane on Nov. 9. Haddin, 35, made his last test appearance for Australia against India in Sydney in January, missing its subsequent three-test series in the West Indies when his daughter became gravely ill.
