    Washington, Dec 18: Less than two weeks after inheriting the title of the world's oldest living human being, 115-year-old Dina Manfredini, who was living in an Iowa nursing home died Monday, according to her family.
    US media reported that the woman's granddaughter, Lori Logli, confirmed the death but would not provide information about how she died.

    The last time an English side had defeated India in their own den was way back in 1984-85, under the captaincy of David Gower.

    An editorial in the Dawn described Tendulkar's "fall from grace in the ongoing cricket series against England", and said that it has not only dismayed millions of his fans across the world but has also compelled critics to ask him to hang up his boots.

    Washington, Dec 8: The US has welcomed the Indian Parliament’s decision to allow FDI in multi-brand retail, noting that this is a win-win for all and would deepen economic co-operation between the two countries.
     
    “We welcome the Indian parliament’s decision to allow Foreign Direct Investment in multi-brand retail,” State Department spokesman Mark Toner told reporters yesterday.
